El CEO de Meta acaba de entrar al listado de las personas más ricas del mundo tras aumentar su fortuna personal de US $73.400 millones en 2024, hasta llegar a la impresionante suma de US $201.000 millones, según números recientes del Índice de Multimillonarios de Bloomberg.
Con esta cifra, el empresario se convierte en la cuarta persona más rica del mundo, uniéndose a un exclusivo club de US $200.000 millones que solo cuenta con otros tres miembros.
Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos y Bernard Arnault, son las únicas personas por delante de Zuckerberg. El CEO de Tesla y X aparece en el listado con una fortuna de US $272.000 millones; Bezos, fundador de Amazon alcanzó US $211.000 millones y Arnault, que es el CEO de la marca de lujo LVMH, llegó a US $207.000 millones.

No obstante, este aumento ha sido clave para el incremento de la fortuna del CEO de Meta, que ahora forma parte del exclusivo y privilegiado grupo de multimillonarios con más de 200 mil millones de dólares en su fortuna personal.
En su intervención del evento Meta Connect 2024, realizado la semana pasada, el empresario sumó más detalles y dijo que Meta AI va camino de convertirse en el asistente más utilizado del mundo.
“Estamos casi en los 500 millones de (usuarios activos) mensuales, y ni siquiera nos hemos lanzado en algunos de los países más grandes todavía”, ha informado Zuckerberg, refiriéndose a los países de la Unión Europea.
Otros titanes tecnológicos
El empresario de 40 años no es el único titán tecnológico que tuvo un año excepcional en cuanto a crecimiento financiero en los últimos meses. Tal es el caso de Larry Ellison, cofundador de Oracle y Jensen Huang, CEO de Nvidia, que vieron aumentos significativos en su patrimonio. 58 mil 600 millones de dólares en el caso de Ellison mientras que en 62 mil 200 millones de dólares para Huang.
Estos nuevos datos de Bloomberg confirman que Zuckerberg se mantiene competitivo frente a gigantes como Musk, Bezos y Arnault, quienes todavía lideran el ranking global de fortunas personales.
Amancio Ortega aparece en el prestigioso listado en la posición 11 manteniéndose como el español más rico sumando 30 mil 700 millones de dólares para su fortuna desde principios de año.
