Recientemente, Zoom anunció la creación de un asistente automático para empresas, al que bautizó “AI Companion”. Según explicaron sus ejecutivos, es una herramienta generativa que está basada en lenguaje masivo de OpenAI, Meta y Anthropic, sumando desarrollos propios.
¿Qué cambio en la práctica ofrece Zoom AI? El nuevo sistema ofrece transcripciones de las reuniones, las cuales pueden registrarse en forma de tablas, plantillas y otros documentos. Para las empresas, podría suponer una herramienta sumamente valiosa para organizar las tareas posteriores a la conversación.
La jefa de producto de Zoom, Smite Hashim, aclaró que “la inteligencia artificial es lo que hace que esta experiencia sea tan diferenciada”. Asimismo, indicó que las IA’s “realizan tareas simples y de alta fricción”, las cuales ocupan mucho tiempo para el personal o los usuarios en general.

La consultora StockAnalysis pronostica que Zoom tendrá un crecimiento “moderado” de sus acciones, con un precio promedio de $80.11, registrando oscilaciones entre $66 y $100.
