Las startups españolas de tecnología han experimentado un crecimiento significativo. En particular, en el área de la inteligencia artificial y las plataformas de software, o al menos así lo señala el informe “Análisis de una nueva generación de start-ups en España y Portugal” en su quinta edición.
Este informe, impulsado por Caixa a través de DayOne y en colaboración con el Centro de iniciativa emprendedora de IESE Business School. Proporciona información muy interesante sobre las startups españolas y cómo están utilizando la tecnología para su desarrollo.
- Las empresas de plataformas de software representaron el 32% de las empresas participantes. Las de inteligencia artificial representaban el 15% y las de análisis de datos el 9%.
- El 18% de las empresas de tecnología de análisis de datos se desarrollan en Castilla-La Mancha, Castilla y León y Cataluña.
- Es en Madrid donde el 25% de las empresas de inteligencia artificial tienen su origen.
Datos interesantes sobre el crecimiento de las startups españolas de tecnología
El informe “Análisis de una nueva generación de start-ups en España y Portugal” se basa en las, 1056 empresas de España y Portugal. Las cuales han participado en la 17ª edición de los Premios Emprende XXI.
De la muestra de empresas participantes se supo que 957 son españolas y representan una muestra de las startups en España.
Parte de los datos proporcionados por el informe. Las empresas de plataformas de software representaron el 32% de las empresas participantes en el evento. Las de inteligencia artificial representaban el 15% y las de análisis de datos el 9%.
Además, el informe revela las regiones en las que predominan ciertas startups, indicando que el 18% de las empresas de tecnología de análisis de datos se desarrollan en Castilla-La Mancha, Castilla y León y Cataluña.
Mientras que es en Madrid donde el 25% de las empresas de inteligencia artificial tienen su origen. En Valencia se destaca la tecnología blockchain con el 31% del total de esta tecnología.
Las empresas que trabajan con realidad virtual tienen presencia en Cataluña con un 26% y en Andalucía con un 21%.
El financiamiento: factor clave para las startups españolas
Entre los datos aportados por el informe también queda claro que el financiamiento es muy importante para las startups españolas.
De hecho, indica que el 14% del total de las empresas presentadas a los Premios Emprende XXI, es decir, unas 145 startups, han recibido un millón o más de financiación. Estas cifras representan un incremento respecto al año anterior, que fue del 13%, lo que representaba 143 startups.
En el ámbito de la tecnología, los sectores relacionados con robótica, hard tech y cloud han superado el millón de euros de financiación media. Además, han mostrado un fuerte potencial de crecimiento y escalabilidad en su sector.
La financiación de capital propio ha aumentado del 57% al 70% según los datos aportados por el informe. Esto puede traducirse en que hay una mejora en el compromiso de crecimiento de los fundadores de este tipo de startups.
La financiación privada. Se destaca una mayor presencia, indicando que, en comparación con los datos de la edición anterior de los premios, se incrementó un 11% la financiación media a las empresas. De hecho, en esta edición, la presencia de los Business Angels en las startups pasó del 12% al 23%.
Atracción a los inversores
El informe también establece que la capacidad para atraer a los inversores ha aumentado un 3,5%, alcanzando los 606 millones de euros. Incluso establecen una perspectiva territorial de inversión en la que indican que en Cataluña hay un promedio de inversión de 1,1 millones de euros, en el País Vasco 1,05 millones de euros y en Madrid 764.494 euros.
Niveles de competitividad
Asimismo, establecen que hay una alta competitividad en el sector, sobre todo en lo relacionado con el uso de tecnología propia. El 73% de las empresas participantes en la última edición de los Premios Emprende XXI indican que tienen un producto superior al de la competencia, y el 56% de las startups afirman tener tecnología propia.
Estos son algunos de los datos que revela el informe de caixa con DayOne y que ofrecen una perspectiva positiva sobre el futuro de las startups españolas que basan sus servicios en tecnología de inteligencia artificial, análisis de datos, software empresarial, robótica, entre otras tecnologías.
En un contexto de crecimiento notable en el sector tecnológico, el reciente informe de Caixa revela que las startups españolas están experimentando un aumento significativo, destacando su papel crucial en la economía digital del país.
