BlackRock reduce participación Ibex en un movimiento que ha sacudido el parqué español. La noticia cayó como un jarro de agua fría en el mundo financiero, justo cuando septiembre empezaba a calentar motores. El gigante estadounidense ha decidido aflojar un poco el agarre en dos de las joyas de la corona del Ibex 35: Banco Sabadell y Telefónica.
Este giro inesperado llega en un momento en que el Ibex 35 ya acumula un 12,8% de subida desde enero. ¿Casualidad o estrategia? Lo cierto es que estos movimientos de la mayor gestora del mundo no pasan desapercibidos y suelen marcar tendencia. Los inversores se frotan los ojos ante este cambio de guion en dos de los valores más calientes del año.
El panorama bursátil español se ha visto sacudido por esta decisión de BlackRock. Han recortado su participación en dos pesos pesados del Ibex 35. Este movimiento no es baladí, considerando que hablamos de la gestora más grande del planeta. Todos sabemos la capacidad de influencia descomunal que tiene BlackRock en los mercados globales.
BlackRock reduce participación Ibex: Banco Sabadell, el valor más alcista afectado
Banco Sabadell se ha coronado como el rey indiscutible del Ibex en lo que va de año. Tiene un espectacular rally del 78% desde enero. Este ascenso meteórico es impulsado mayormente por los rumores de una posible OPA (Oferta Pública de Adquisición) de BBVA. Por supuesto, todo esto ha hecho las delicias de los inversores, BlackRock incluido.
Sin embargo, la fiesta parece haber llegado a su fin para el gigante estadounidense. El 30 de agosto su participación en Sabadell se situaba en un robusto 6,623%. Pero ojo al dato: desde el primer día de septiembre, este porcentaje se ha reducido al 6,593%.
Puede parecer un ajuste mínimo, pero marca la primera vez desde junio que BlackRock baja del umbral del 6,6%. Ha roto una racha de más de 50 comunicaciones con porcentajes entre el 6,6% y el 6,8%.
Telefónica: Otro pilar del Ibex con participación reducida
La operadora española tampoco se ha librado del golpe de BlackRock. Si en Sabadell el recorte fue quirúrgico, en Telefónica ha sido más bien una cirugía a corazón abierto. La participación de la gestora ha caído desde el 4,689% de agosto hasta un 4,292% del primer día de septiembre.
Este movimiento rompe con meses de estabilidad, donde BlackRock se limitaba a pequeños retoques en su posición. Siempre se había mantenido entre el 4,64% y el 4,68%. A pesar de este revés, Telefónica sigue siendo una de las estrellas del Ibex con un alza del 22%. Esto la sitúa como la novena más revalorizada del índice, empatada con Mapfre y Logista.
Implicaciones para el mercado español
Si BlackRock reduce participación Ibex, significa que no es una mera anécdota en el tablero bursátil español. Cuando un peso pesado de esta envergadura decide reajustar sus fichas, el mercado entero tiembla. La reducción de participación en dos valores tan relevantes como Sabadell y Telefónica podría interpretarse como una señal de cautela.
Por otro lado, es importante no perder el contexto: el Ibex 35 acumula una subida del 12,8% desde enero. Esto es un rendimiento nada despreciable. Los movimientos de BlackRock podrían ser simplemente una toma de beneficios tras un periodo de fuertes revalorizaciones. El tiempo nos dirá.
