Alibaba Group, el gigante chino del comercio electrónico, acumuló una subida de sus acciones en bolsa del 37,04% entre el 3 de septiembre y el 1 de octubre.
En lo que va de año, el valor de las acciones de Alibaba presenta una subida del 50,80%.
Esta tendencia positiva se ha acelerado desde el anuncio de la nueva política monetaria del Banco Popular de China.
Las autoridades publicaron el contenido de su paquete de medidas económicas el 24 de septiembre; las acciones de Alibaba despegaron el 26 de septiembre, pasando de los 95,43 USD a los 112,74 USD tras el cierre de la sesión del 1 de Octubre.
Estos datos pertenecen a la cotización de las acciones de Alibaba en la bolsa de Nueva York (NYSE: BABA).
Si nos fijamos en su rendimiento en la Bolsa de Hong Kong, (HKG: 9988), la revalorización en el mes de septiembre alcanza el 44,78%, pasando de 92,00 HKD (Dólares de Hong Kong) a 115,10 HKD tras el plan de crecimiento económico de las autoridades chinas.
Baidu, JD o PDD Holdings también acumulan subidas espectaculares
El Tsunami provocado por el cambio de estrategia económica del Banco Popular de China en los mercados ha arrastrado también a algunas de las principales empresas tecnológicas del país. Tomemos el ejemplo de Baidu, JD o PDD Holdings.
- Baidu (NASDAQ: BIDU), la empresa del principal motor de búsquedas de internet en China, acumula un 32,21% de revalorización de sus acciones en el mes de septiembre, pasando de 94,81 USD por activo a 110,28 USD tras la fecha clave del 24 de Septiembre.
- JD.com (NASDAQ: JD), uno de los principales competidores de Alibaba en su división de comercio electrónico, presenta un crecimiento todavía más espectacular. En el mes de septiembre sus acciones crecen un 60,79%, una tendencia que continuó en la primera sesión de octubre con una subida del 7,32%
- PDD Holdings (NASDAQ: PDD), la empresa matriz de plataformas de comercio electrónico como Temu, completó un rally del 48,99% en septiembre. Sus acciones se cotizaban a 113,80 USD el 24 de septiembre; ahora valen 145, 64 USD.
¿Las acciones de Alibaba seguirán subiendo?
La euforia provocada por la subida de las acciones de Alibaba puede remitir en cualquier momento si se produce una corrección en los mercados durante las próximas semanas.
Los inversores seguirán con atención el proceso de implementación de las medidas económicas anunciadas por el Banco Popular de China.
También habrá que poner el foco la relación del gobierno chino con las tecnológicas, marcada en los últimos años por una intensa presión regulatoria. La propia Alibaba fue multada con 2.800 millones de dólares en 2021 tras una investigación por prácticas monopolísticas.
La escalada de violencia en Oriente medio con Israel e Irán como protagonistas, o la tensión entre China y Estados Unidos por la independencia de Taiwan pueden ser factores determinantes para el futuro de las acciones de Alibaba.
Movimientos de los accionistas de Alibaba Group
Primecap Management Company, uno de los principales accionistas institucionales de Alibaba, ha aumentado su participación en la compañía en un 5,2%, adquiriendo más de un millón de acciones.
Con esta compra eleva su total de activos a 21,87 millones, lo que representa aproximadamente el 0,91% de la empresa, con un valor de 2.484 millones de dólares.
En el segundo trimestre de 2024, tanto Sanders Capital como Dodge & Cox, otros de los principales inversores, reforzaron sus posiciones en la compañía.
Sanders Capital incrementó su participación a 18,4 millones de acciones para un valor total de 2.090 millones de dólares. Sanders Capital posee ahora el 0,77% de Alibaba.
Por su parte, Dodge & Cox acumuló 18,03 millones de acciones durante el segundo trimestre de 2024 por valor de 2.048 millones de dólares, aumentando su participación en Alibaba hasta el 0,75%.
